Personal Data Processing

At IFC (International Finance Corporation), we invite you to participate in the Resilient Banking Report 2025. Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary, and there will be no negative consequences for not participating. This survey aims to gather crucial data to establish, for the first time, a comprehensive global diagnostic tool. This initiative will allow commercial banks to accurately assess their current position on the path to sustainable banking maturity and compare their performance with that of their regional and international peers. By providing actionable insights, the survey will serve as a critical resource for banks to identify opportunities in their transition to Resilient Banking frameworks and practices.

If you choose to participate in the survey, we will collect the following personal information: email address, bank name, representative’s full name, country, position/job title, and how you heard about us. We will use this data for the following purposes:

  • Your name and contact information to contact you regarding this survey, send follow-up emails, and post-survey communications related to this Report.

  • Anonymized or aggregated information from the data you provide may be used solely for the purposes of this report and shared only with the IFC teams involved in its development.

  • You will be part of our Resilient Banking community to receive future news and information and ensure commercial banking best practices.

The information that you share in this survey will be treated as confidential in accordance with IFC’s policies on confidentiality and access to information. Any personal data you share will be treated in accordance with the World Bank Personal Data Privacy Policy (here).

Data processing will be carried out in accordance with the principles of legality, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. In all cases, the necessary technical and organizational measures will be adopted to guarantee its security and prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or access.

Personal data will be used exclusively for the aforementioned purposes. However, the data subject may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and portability at any time by contacting the Data Controller by email at [[email protected] ].

However, as no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be fully secure, we request you not to share information that you consider private or sensitive as part of your responses within the survey.
